Divisions: $160.00 Combined Test: $75.00 Pinny deposit: None – Lost pinny charge $30.00 Stabling: $ 90.00 (section 5) Addit’l night: $ 30.00 (section 5) (must make reservation in advance with secretary) Grounds Fee: $ 20.00 (per unstabled horse) Day stall: $ 30.00 (section 5) (Sat. only at Brownland, Sun. only at Park. NO bedding for day stalls.) Camping: $ 25.00 per night electric hookup. (separate check-section 6)
Entries:
Entry fees include a $25 non-refundable office fee. Double entries: Not accepted. BN competitors who are not USEA members must pay extra $25 with entry. Competitors are STRONGLY ENCOURAGE to complete rider & horse profiles, then fill out & print their entries through www.evententries.com A complete entry includes the following: • Entry form with all required signatures (Trainer must be at least 18) & no blanks (must include Rider DOB, valid & legible e-mail address, Rider/Horse experience, etc.: • You MUST indicate preferences under ELIGIBLE SECTION. (Refer to Appendix 3 or USEF Rules. • You MUST include Rider date of birth. • If not a member of USEA and/or USEF, enter “NM” (non member) vs. leaving blank. ONLY BN COMPETITORS MAY COMPETE W/O USEA MEMBERSHIP & MUST INCLUDE $25 NONMEMBER FEE WITH ENTRY. • If 1st event, enter “1st” in Rider/Horse Experience v. leaving blank. • Copy of Rider, Owner and/or Trainer USEF card (s) For Prelim entries (EACH must be USEF member or pay $20. USEF Non-Member Fee & EACH must be Junior, Eventing or Platinum member or pay $5.00 USEF Discipline Fee). • Copy of negative Coggins valid through end of event. • Stabling form with “Stable With’ and/or ‘Special Requests’ noted if ANY stabling is required (including Brownland and/or Percy Warner Park day stalls. • Check (one check per ride) Rider Divisions open only to riders who have not completed more than two horse trials at the next division higher than the one they are entering more than two times within the past 24 months. Horse Divisions open only to horses who have never competed at a higher level. Returned check: - $25. fee each. Refunds: Entry: In writing (e-mail & fax are acceptable before 9:00 pm CENTRAL on CD less $25. non-refundable office fee; After C.D.-Less $25 ONLY if place can be filled from wait list. Stabling- Before CD, full refund; after CD, no refund. Competition cancellation-50% refund upon entire event cancellation. Neg. Coggins required within 12 months for all horses. $25 charge for ANY change after CD.
Tentative Schedule:
Fri: Secretary open 12 noon at Brownland; Cross-country course open-3 pm. Sat: Dressage-7:30 am; Show Jumping-9:30 am. Sun: Cross-country-8 am.
Awards:
Trophy & 8 ribbons per division.
Starting Times:
Ride times available at www.mtn-ponyclub.org, by Wed. evening, Oct. 10. If not on-line, send SASE with entry. Cards will not be sent.
Stabling/Veternarian:
$90/stall at Brownland for duration of event. All perm stalls with stall doors & initial bedding (1 bag shavings) provided. Early arrivals at Brownland must advise event secretary. Additional night’s stabling: $30. Additional shavings at Brownland for purchase. NO BEDDING for day stalls either location. Limited day stalls for $30 on Sunday at Percy Warner Park. 25 perm. stalls available to first requested-state on stabling form, first guaranteed. GROUPS WISHING TO STABLE TOGETHER SHOULD LIST THE SAME, ONE NAME UNDER “STABLE WITH” ON STABLING FORM!!! All P-2800 m @ 520 mpm. All T -2400 m @ 450 mpm. All N-2000 m @ 400 mpm. All BN-1800 m @ 350 mpm, all approximate distances. All courses: Built to standard at each level. All courses have water, bank and ditches.
Other Information:
* P/T: Preliminary Dressage and Show Jumping, Training Cross Country. Cross-country course closed Sept. 4. Rider limit 2 horses/level. Divisions further divided/combined as entries warrant; state preferences under the Eligible Section and birth date on entry. WATER AVAILABILITY AT PARK: There are water taps in and close to
